I'm using Nooelec RTL2832 + R820T2 USB devices with Unitrunker, DSD+ and Trunking Recorder. This setup works great.

Does anyone know if there is software capable of recording analog ( a parked frequency would be fine) using an RTL2832?

My requirements are that I'd like a web frontend and auto purging of old recordings similar to the way Trunking Recorder does it?

I'm using SDR# now with some plugins but would love to get Trunking Recorder to handle the record function because it's one of the best written programs I've seen in a while.

Thanks,
Dave

I have the same thought as you on this. My setup would be complete if I could integrate conventional traffic into Trunking Recorder. Most of the ones I am interested in are P25, so I'm thinking there might be a way to make a scrip that interfaces with DSD+. DSD+ already archives recordings, even on a per call basis, I'd just have to figure out how to integrate these in with Trunking Recorder (if this is something Jason is okay with), or make a separate server.

Doing the same for analog conventional traffic, well, I'm not quite sure how to go about that. At any rate, if we want something like this, it's something we will have to work on. I don't think what we have in mind exists.

We're talking about a way to have an awesome front end, ideally web based, that allows one to search by date, radio, talkgroup, etc. I use Audacity all the time. If there is some way to use it to help achieve what we are looking to do, I'd appreciate greater detail in how this might be done.

Thanks.
