I am running ProScan 23.5 and have been noticing that when recording frequencies some of them when playing back the audio is extremely tinny in sound and other frequencies are ok. I have tried to make changes in Windows 11 and in ProScan but have not been able to fix this. I never had a problem with this before and don't remember if it started after an update or not. Any help would be appreciated with the problem.

Set a greater mp3 bit rate as shown below. I have mine set to 64 kbps, audio sounds fine (also running Proscan 23.5 on Win 11 FWIW...)

No problems here either with ProScan 23.5 on recordings made at the 64 kbps MP3 bit rate.

No changes in that area in the longest time.
Did you reboot your computer and scanner?
Can you revert to the previous version 23.4 to see if it does the same thing?

Any time an issue, advise on the scanner type.

I am running a Uniden 436 scanner, and these are the setup under RECORDERS TAB/audio controls, input sound device is greyed out, mode, format, mps bitrate are also greyed out so I cannot change anything.

Feel so stupid after all this time using ProScan, I have my recording setup as, I will see if this will fix the audio.
