Salem County P25 System

Seems as there may be a control channel of 774.40625 up and running… Im getting a low signal from Delaware County. It shows System ID C5F site 1.1 NAC C51. Alternate control channels all matching a FCC license for Salem County….. If anyone is down that way this it in and maybe you can verify it also .

Hear it very weak in Berlin Camden County NJ. 774.40625 is the control channel for Somerset County P25 which reaches down this way too. There will likely be some intermixing.

I've had it programmed in my SDS100 for a bit now and check it time to time. Nothing from Montco PA. FWIW I do have a reliable pick up on neighboring Gloucester Co's system from my QTH. Maybe if the CC were stronger I may have better luck...

I've been monitoring it with DSD plus from Logan Twp. while at work. Not a lot of activity so far, just a few affiliations and very short test transmission as of yet.

I Have not heard anything on the west police dispatch on the old system, so my guess is tgid 9999 is Where they went. I’m about 5 miles from the Pittsgrove tower so the CC is loud and clear here.

It's MORE official now: Most of South Jersey's LEO (excluding NJSP) is fully "E". That leaves only Cape May County mostly clear...

I heard some encrypted activity on TGID 723. I picked it up all the way in Voorhees on Rt 73 by Virtua Hospital. As far as we know this has only been on air just a few weeks. Is it really possible the PD switched this early in the game?

In Cumberland County Bridgeton city police was on the NJICS months before anyone else in the city, encrypted From the start.

There must be a full-time user or patch on this system. I copied encrypted TGIDs 903 and 3717 at approximately 9:30pm tonight.

I'm in Malaga that puts me at where the Gloucester County, Cumberland County, and Salem County lines all meet. (My back yard is in Cumberland County) So I put the Salem County TRS in my SDS200 running ProScan in ID Searching. I will post IDs soon as I get a good list.
BTW for some reasons I get NJICS Berlin (Clayton) and Cumberland County (Vineland) sites also of course Gloucester County TRS (also Clayton), but cant get the Atlantic County's TRS here!

What are you using for an antenna? Are you monitoring Hammonton/Buena? What's topography like between you and the antenna site below? Isn't there a lot of farm land out that way? I'd think you wouldn't have much of an issue with an outdoor antenna resonant on 800, perhaps a yagi pointed southeast?
