Scanner help: Uniden BCD325P2 San Pablo PD

Hello all, I just bought this new Uniden BCD325P2 scanner and was wondering if anyone can help me start scanning San Pablo PD. I'm new to scanning so I was wondering if anyone can help me on obtain a frequency or provide me instructions on how to get started. Thank you in advance!

And all your frequencies can be found in the database. Click the database link in the menu bar above.

Since you are a premium subscriber here , download software supported by your scanner and import the system from the database. That's the easiest way

I would, as a fellow 325 owner, suggest Freescan. Proscan if you're dealing with any DMR.

Just getting the software is not enough. You need to understand how and why the scanner is programmed. To that end, we have an article on our wiki (links are blue) that will get you started. In there are links to articles about trunking (in your case, a very important concept), the FreeScan user guide (if you decide to go that route), and perhaps most important, an Easier to Read guide for the 325P. All of this, and a lot more, can be found here...

Program your DMA Scanner - The RadioReference Wiki

This article has links to just about everything you need to get started. Take your time; it's a lot to process at once. Do only 1 system at a time; don't try to do everything at once, as that overwhelms many. Do one, get it working the way you want, back it up then move on. That way if something gets hosed - we've all done it - you can go back to your last working copy.
