Sure, but I am guessing the 536 outputs the same data as the 436. I can try to hook it to my BCT15 when my serial card comes in, and give you the info from that one.

Just got my serial card installed in the computer, and finally have it working without the buggy USB connection...but someone beat me to the 536 results. Looking forward to your programs evolution.

Thank you for your feed back. What I have determined so far based on the raw data dumps is.

The STS command varies from scanner to scanner as the display is different on the various scanners. This makes coding some what harder if I use the sts command. I hope uniden will publish the 436 / 536 remote command reference guide soon so I can look at other options to get data that will be similar between the four scanners 396 996 436 536.

Important Information: because of issues with the reliability of USB/serial port on the 436/536 scanners ARC536PRO must be used with the BCD536HP rear port or the BCD436HP GPS port for reliable virtual control. The use of the front/usb port is the users risk and may not work reliable. This is beyond our control. See software manual for details.

This will allow me to see exactly how many characters per field.

Hopefully I can get the output from a 996 as well and a 536.

And please do a capture when idle and active. Was the above when it was active or idle on the scanner?
