If you have the HP-1 please run this program and paste the output to this forum when the scanner is idle and active.

Idle/scanning:

<DataHP1>RMT<#9>STATUS<#9><#9><#9>0<#9><#9><#9><#9>Clearwater<#9><#9><#9>0<#9>1<#9>0<#9>Local<#9><#9>0<#9>0<#9>0<#9>2760</HP1Data>

Note: "Clearwater" was the system tag and "Local" the favorites list, but they were only on screen because the scanner was scanning through them.

Receiving:

<DataHP1>RMT<#9>STATUS<#9><#32>154.8300<#9>FM<#9>0<#9>82<#9>NONE<#9>2<#9>Rockyview<#9>Public<#32>Safety<#32>-<#32>Cochrane<#9>RCMP<#32>A15<#32>South<#9>1<#9>0<#9>4<#9>Full<#32>Database<#9><#9>0<#9>0<#9>0<#9>7707</HP1Data>

Here is what I am able to determine based on Jays info.

The number at the end of each line is the field number.

Question is there is one more field than documented, field 19 anyone know what this field is?

All you need is this Cable and you are in business without having to worry about the thing crashing into Mass Stupid Mode.

Interesting . I wonder if you can use the serial port at the same time you're using the usb mass storage mode?

Good question but since my Mass storage usb is not working i have no way of testing it. The uniden driver for that front port is lacking.

I would highly doubt it, because during mass storage mode, the SD card is "disengaged" from the radio, software-wise, to allow for it to be opened as a Windows "removable drive".

How many people would use Scanner Screen for the HP-1

Before I make the coding changes I am wondering how many people would use Scanner Screen with the HP-1.
