Thank you very much for the program I am using it with my Uniden 396t scanner and it works with Windows 8.1, I also tried it on my 55 inch LED flat scree TV and it looks perfect, The only question I have is how do you get Text to Speech to work ???.

My fault I did not have my audio cable in the scanner the right way, sorry it works perfect.

Thanks. Nice program. Ill second the request for a resizable window. ARC wont resize either and it costs $60

Doesn't always shut down properly.
Sometimes I have to go into Task Manager to kill it.
Even then, a Process called ScannerScreen.exe *32 persists that I can't kill.

No joy - HP1 and Win8.1. Changed default com to 115200, tried all 4 com ports.

Could be that it is trying to talk to the scanner via the serial port or the Text to Speech routine has not finished yet.

If you wait for about 20 or more seconds does it go away?

I'm using with BCD536HP and BCD996XT, work great. Long names sometimes cause the text-to-speech to choke though. get occasional crashes with TTS running. Good job though!

Nice little program, using on XP & Windows 7 on the 536 & 436 with no issues. But would like to see a adjustable window size if that is possible.

Thanks for the newer version! Using it here on XP (32-Bit) & Win7 (64-Bit) with a BCD536P. Adjustable window size would be a nice enhancement, along with a 12-Hour clock.

Still crashes after a bit with TTS. Using Win 7 64bit. With TTS off, works fine. If no one else has pblm, could be my machine. Will chk with LapTop later. Tks for your work, at least you are ahead of some of the other projects coming.

Have you installed the serial driver for the HP-1? And confirmed the comm port sometimes it puts it on com port 20. Look at device manager once serial driver is installed.
