well, Here we are, winter 2025, Wheres this RH 200? ha
Rich just posted in this very thread three weeks ago:

We are working hard on the RH200 production. A product like this takes time to develop and produce and we would much rather take the time to do it right. Remember, it is better to have a good product done late than a bad product done fast.

While we hope to have it available for sale by Hamvention 2025 in May we are not promising that.

Look how long it takes SpaceX to test, refine and finally implement something. Heck, they just had a Starship explode.

I'm glad they didn't decide to scrap the project. For the record, if the price point is right, I am in a position where I could buy several.
But I'll gladly wait until they are sure they are good to go.

Can we get on a list so we are notified when it's available or can we kickstart it even though most of the kick-starts I've done I got burned lol.

I agree. Once it reaches a certain point having ScannerMaster offer Pre-Orders would be nice. It would help determine actual demand for production purposes, and would bring in $$ to aid the effort.

I agree. Once it reaches a certain point having ScannerMaster offer Pre-Orders would be nice. It would help determine actual demand for production purposes, and would bring in $$ to aid the effort.

To preface my forthcoming remarks, to be clear, I do not speak on behalf of the owner or any other Scanner Master personnel and offer this as speculation as I do have some small experience in these things...;)

The way this will work will likely be in the following manner:

1. When it is close to release it will appear at the website as an "out of stock" item.
2. There will be a provision on the page, as there is with all out of stock items, to add your email address to a notification list.
3. When the item comes into stock you will receive a notification that it is in stock or available. It is recommended to mark any emails from @scannermaster.com as safe senders so it doesn't go to your junk folder inadvertently.

Or, it will simply appear when it's ready to go and be available for order until the initial stock is depleted, in which case the above procedure will work.

Unfortunately for any items sold at Scanner Master, there is no provision to back-order out of stock items and the above steps are used to inform the customer of return to stock.

As our parents told us when we were kids (and sometimes as adults too), "good things come to those who wait".

Gosh all the business experts with the solution! It's a wonder ScannerMaster is even still in business without the expert knowledge, and extensive obviously superior expertise is development, manufacturing, sales and marketing offered in the forums!
