Gosh all the business experts with the solution! It's a wonder ScannerMaster is even still in business without the expert knowledge, and extensive obviously superior expertise is development, manufacturing, sales and marketing offered in the forums!
Perhaps a quick look at my signature line will help things along. ;)

LOL yeah, sometimes people type before they think.

That said, checking your sig is easier said than done for someone who uses dark mode like a sane person (sarcasm) since you have it set to black instead of auto color...

[It actually shows up better in the screenshot than on the screen.]

Yup, I use dark mode myself and one has to actively search for it, otherwise the brain kind of focuses on brighter text.

I can't debate that. I fixed it. Unless someone has a red background (in which case they ain't gonna see it at all) hopefully it's showing up now. Thanks for that kick in the pants, it was warranted in this case!

I'll admit they could do better at keeping us updated. But, honestly, they don't owe us that I don't suppose. It would just be nice. If this thread disappears, we'll know they hit a snag and it is canceled.

We are still hard at work. There will be a new pre-production unit at Dayton for sure and perhaps more. This is actually a very complicated project involving players on multiple continents and we want to be sure to do it right!
Thank you for your hard work.

yes thanks for the hard work and the update i want 5 of them once released
All this hard work takes time, and time are money that will be put on the final sales price. It will cost as much as a high end scanner. So instead of having SDS200 and a RH200 you could probably relocate the SDS200 to your home and have a single SDS100 in your vehicle for the same cost but with less installation hassle and you will end up with two scanners instead of just one with a remote head.

Good point. That is a no-brainer. Hopefully it comes in at an attractive price point so that these efforts are not wasted.

If you look at ScannerMasters earlier remote head project for the BC780 it sold for $1000 including the scanner and a new BC780 where $500.

Better to have two scanners for that price as you stated above.

Seems odd for an end user to make postings that he expects it to have a large price tag, and we should accept / expect the same.

I say just the opposite. If the price is right, I'll buy several without issue. If it's several hundred dollars, they may as well do a short run of them, as that will count a bunch of us out.
