re. .net. Windowz 64 bit requires 32 bit (x86) .net. That took me a while to solve. To clarify, its good practice to install bith 32 and 64 bit versions of respective .net packages.

I too, experienced crashes of v913 when using an RTL device. No problems using Airspy. Downloaded the RTL dlls from here as mentioned in the page 2 posting: It works! Only needed to copy rtlsdr.dll from the zip archive to the SDR Sharp folder. Makes sense, as the dll that worked in previous versions is dated 1/24/2014. Yikes!!!

Me thinks that the software developer needs a more robust QA testing methodology.

yes, that version works, but it still crashes after a few minutes of usage while changing frequencies or moving the spectrum.

My solution to the SDRSharp v1913 problem when using the RTL-SDR.COM V3 Dongle
It would be better to use SDRSharp versions 1910 and earlier for the RTL-SDR V3 dongle, but my solution to improve the use of SDRSharp Versions 1911-1913 is in this thread:
SDR# Alternative drivers
SDR# - Alternative drivers

FROM My Post #3
SDR# - Alternative drivers
Use modified rtl-sdr-32bit-20230611.zip 2023-Jun-11 binary from Index of /binaries/windows/rtl-sdr/
Index of /binaries/windows/rtl-sdr/

TO (after a few false moves)
My Post #16
SDR# - Alternative drivers
Configure Source to create internal Plugin and open SDRSharp with open Windows in software.

This leaves only one bug left: You have to restart by clicking on open Windows in the software. If you have left the software open, it will appear if SDR# crashes. Good Luck!

If it's true that prog dropped RTL-SDR well then welcome aboard. He dropped SDRPlay RSP product line a long time ago too. Have to use a earlier version of SDR# but then it still may not work if you're like me and holding on to SDRPlay API v3.11.

Edit: looks like RTL-SDR didn't get the axe.

He didn't drop RTL-SDR.
SDR# v1913 just has a new way of adding it.

You have to download v1913 and binary zip files:

1913SW4_1.jpg

Unzip both files to Folders.

1913SW5_1.jpg

Then you have to copy and add 4 dlls from the binary Folder to the 1913 Folder:

1913SW6_1.jpg

1913SW7_1.jpg

and you still have to install-rtlsdr while connected to the internet:

1913SW8_1.jpg

1913SW9_1.jpg

and you still have to add the Zadig driver and check the Device Manager:

1913SW11_1.jpg

To open display, click on start Windows Batch File instead of SDRSharp App:

1913SW13_1.jpg

Continued in next post.

Continued from previous post.

1913SW19_1.jpg

Select Source, then click on Configure:

1913SW20 Select Source and Configure_1.jpg

RF Gain window opens:

1913SW21 RFgain window opens_1.jpg

Click on lower Plugins:

1913SW22Lower Plugins_1.jpg

Click on OK:

1913SW23 XML Text Import_1.jpg

This has created an internal Plugin for the RTL-SDR.COM V3 dongle:

1913SW24 Plugin_1.jpg

If Zadig didn't find the dongle, unplug it and reinsert in USB port.

If it crashes, you have to start Windows Batch File again in software.

I know this is a bit offtopic but, any of you know have a bug, like me, where you can't set bandwidth up more than 1000 in Windows 11? Once you reach 1000, click arrow up once more and goes back to 20. You can't also write with the keyboard. Only what to change the bandwidth is dragging te width in the spectrum view,

I don't have Windows 11, but what version of SDRSharp are you using?

What SDR are you using?

What type of signal are you trying to receive, AM, NBFM, or WBFM?

Happens on all recent SDR# versions. Including the latest. Using any SDR (tested on RTL, AirSpy and remote SDR). On all modes. Can't pass 1000 when using the little arrow up. If you write the bandwidth with the keyboard, the moment you click somewhere else it goes down to "13". This is quite a PITA.

I will try to record a video.

There is a link for it in another thread.

I'll hunt for it.
Meanwhile, try 1831.

SDRSharp Download Page_2.jpg

I tried to attach zip file of 1910, but it's too large. I'll continue to hunt for link. Last resort is email to you.
