I too, experienced crashes of v913 when using an RTL device. No problems using Airspy. Downloaded the RTL dlls from here as mentioned in the page 2 posting:It works! Only needed to copy rtlsdr.dll from the zip archive to the SDR Sharp folder. Makes sense, as the dll that worked in previous versions is dated 1/24/2014. Yikes!!!Release RTL-SDR-BLOG Windows Release V1.1 · rtlsdrblog/rtl-sdr-blog
Windows dll and exe programs for the modified rtl-sdr-blog drivers. New version adds support for future R828D dongles. Update: Added x64 binaries as well (can be used in SDR++ etc)github.com
Me thinks that the software developer needs a more robust QA testing methodology.
Very true.Me thinks that the software developer needs a more robust QA testing methodology.
He didn't drop RTL-SDR.If it's true that prog dropped RTL-SDR well then welcome aboard. He dropped SDRPlay RSP product line a long time ago too. Have to use a earlier version of SDR# but then it still may not work if you're like me and holding on to SDRPlay API v3.11.
Edit: looks like RTL-SDR didn't get the axe.
Two more comments:My conclusion:
SDR# v1913 is still unstable with the RTL-SDR.COM V3 dongle.
Don't use any version after v1910.
I don't have Windows 11, but what version of SDRSharp are you using?I know this is a bit offtopic but, any of you know have a bug, like me, where you can't set bandwidth up more than 1000 in Windows 11? Once you reach 1000, click arrow up once more and goes back to 20. You can't also write with the keyboard. Only what to change the bandwidth is dragging te width in the spectrum view,
There is a link for it in another thread.does anyone know where i can get 1910? i was working fine until i unpacked 1913 over 1910 and now i can't get SDR# running, and i can't seem to find 1910 anywhere online... anyone know?
thanks,
richard
