Yup post#78. As stated before turnaround historically has been around 20 working days.I think I remember UPman saying the techs work on them in order and, once it's received by Uniden. After you get the message that it was received, it becomes a waiting game.
Uniden also received my unit mid last week as I got my email and status number. However it has been a week and nothing has changed on my end as well. Estimated ship date of April is all it says. All in all, I’m hoping that it’s an easy fix and I don’t have this issue again. I’m disappointed that this happened for sure. I really don’t want to have to send it in again and wait another month.
So what is the underling issue here? I assume this can be an issue with any 100 regardless of date of manufacture?

Yeah I can’t say for sure.... my status on Unidens website hasn’t changed at all either in the last 2 weeks. If they ever update it I will be sure to let everyone know what it says...So what is the underling issue here? I assume this can be an issue with any 100 regardless of date of manufacture?

That is the clicking sound I was hearing on VHF/UHF conventional frequencies. However, your database seems to be wiped clean. Were you hearing that when the scanner was programmed and scanning? And for the record systems that were coming in great the day I got it back are starting to fade out a bit 3 days later.I stop receiving any thing from all the trunk systems in my area. Even though I have full signal bars, even on systems out of my area. I reset everything to factory and now all I get is a static clicking sound. Is this the same issue everyone is having? I've only had it for two months. Do I need to send this in for a repair?

No I was not hearing it. While monitoring trunk systems it was completely silent for over an hour. I tried different systems and they all were quiet. The reason I wiped it clean was I didn't know what else try and that's when the noise began. That is the clicking sound I was hearing on VHF/UHF conventional frequencies. I would try updating the firmware and database, i'm not sure if that will help in any way and this may be a repair situation.I stop receiving any thing from all the trunk systems in my area. Well mine went totally deaf in a day or two, and it looks like it may be starting again. Not a happy camper.
You sent it in for repair and now it’s back and the issue is back again? Wow.... yeah I would get a replacement from them. That’s ridiculousWell mine went totally deaf in a day or two, and it looks like it may be starting again. Not a happy camper.
