SDS200 Display

Hi ya'll - I just purchased my first scanner the SDS200 and have it up and scanning but I noticed that the display goes blank after a little while. It comes back on after I hit a key so I don't think it's a display problem. Is there a way to keep the display from turning off? Since I'm new to scanners I want to observe the screen to become an experience user and understand what it's showing. I've watch a lot of youtube videos but haven't seen the answer to my question anywhere. I also ordered an SDS100 so if there is a fix for the 200 I'm assuming it'll work on the 100. Thanks

Press Function Key>Display options>Backlight options>Set Timer>Keypress> Infinite.
This can also be set in Sentinel under Edit> Profile> Display Options.

It is fine to do it right on the radio but the next time you hook up to Sentinel make sure to transfer your card to your profile first thing before anything else and it will make any changes you made on the radio permanently on your profile.

If you don't take this step then when you make other changes in your profile and then transfer Sentinel back to your card it will be set to the old the setting and you will have to redo it on the radio.

Great thanks guys. I took a few videos of the screen when there was action on it and I'll be able to stop it and observe the settings. Really appreciate the help
