Best digital trunking scanners I have ever owned, and the clear choice to resolve simulcast issues. However, almost any of their previous XT or P2 radios does better with analog trunking or vhf.

Oh yeah the BCD996P2 is the best out there. It runs like a work horse with never no problems. Its a complete solid radio.

I may be blind but I'm not seeing any reference to an SDS500 there...?
It is in the info for the software.

Oh, had to click on 536...I just looked at the page you linked to. Who knows, could be it happens or could be it doesn't. If the SDS200 is a HomePatrol form factor I'll pass but I'm sure some will be happy.

Has support for the SDS200 and the SDS500 could the SDS200 be a Home Patrol 3? and SDS500 a base unit like the BCD536HP?

That was my first thought but given the clues we have, I don't think the SDS200 is the HP3. (Unless they have totally changed the form factor or something).

1. From the FCC report, the SDS200 has a BNC connector. (HP1 and 2 both have SMA connectors)
2. The scanner sites that have it listed already all say that it is the 536 replacement.

I guess we'll find out this month though.

Credit Card is all ready to go too. Maybe Uniden will release the cat out of the bag tomorrow or this week since the cat has already been scratching the backs of all of us.

If you find out what the SDS500 is, let me know so I know what to design.

Similar to Universal Radio letting you know what the SDS100 was...until the denial was over. :ROFLMAO: I'm kidding, that's normal procedure for a business...no knowledge until it's publicly introduced.

Maybe there really isn't an SDS500...but there also wasn't a 100 until there was. So...could be...could not be...time will tell! Regardless, we know there's a 200.

EDIT: I think I'm remembering right that it was Universal who first posted about the 100...but I may be wrong. You know what I mean.

You're Uniden message must be stuck in the company email log jam. The SDS500 is the Home Patrol style scanner with SMA connector and color touch screen. Oh I see the problem in earlier communications it was called the HP 3. Please design it Paul ASAP for summer delivery.
