I'm betting that Staleys programed the radio wrong because once the squad delivered the patient to the ER they obviously told the hospital personnel that they were trying to get them on the state radio because afterward they tried again a few times to reach Whg Hospital on 9999..... The other wheeling squad just went to OVMC and they were able to deliver their report on the correct OVMC SIRN channel....

Wheeling fd is calling wheeling hospital with issues still but it is on 9997 NOT 9999. Don't know why it was changed and for tac-3 the t/g is 2142

There are multiple discrepencies in the document that somebody sent to me. I'm not monitoring SIRN so I have no logs. Hopefully Mylan and N8JSW can figure it out.

In document:

2125 listed as OC TACTICAL
2129 listed as WFD FTAC 4 -- All Ohio Co Fire Tac 4

DB already lists 2125 as Mozart VFD
DB already lists 2129 as Stone Church VFD

So I didn't change any of that.

And now you're saying 2142 may be wrong.

So basically it looks like we need to just wait it out and monitor to figure out what is what.

I know from when both Berkeley and Jefferson sites first were setup Anson being used, it took a while for things to get straightened out. Also, I think in the doc you have, I think some are what they are supposed to be as opposed to actual use. There is a TG in the DB listed for Berkeley Co Sheriff's Office Private but in reality it's used for the bailiffs at the court house; it's still under the Sheriff's Office but just a different use.

When the Jefferson site first went up but no one was using it for real, Charles Town PD had a few radios and used whatever channel they felt like for chit-chat every night until more radios were issued.

I've come to notice that the "templates" are just that. Really not ulta useful for most counties that actually have something going on. You can usually count on the county police/fire dispatch being right, but everything else seems up in air. The document I'm reading from in this particular instance though is from a source inside though -- looks to be a document sent out to all of them, but with some conflicting info.

When the Jefferson site first went up but no one was using it for real, Charles Town PD had a few radios and used whatever channel they felt like for chit-chat every night until more radios were issued.

Like the wild frontier. I can appreciate that

Mike

Mike I've noticed also that as far as the templates go Raleigh Co is the same way in that their countywide law dispatch is on 5117 instead of 5107. Jeff could probably provide more information on that though.

On RR database it lists TG 9997 as EMS to Weirton Hospital and it is EMS to to Wheeling Hospital.

I have been hearing WFD call the the hospital on it. As for to TG 9999 not sure what it is.

I can confirm 9997 as Wheeling Hospital, I know that's been reported already but just want to confirm. I also have 9999 in my notes of un-id but haven't heard it lately.

My guess RCSO was never trained in using their radio when they switch. So when they couldn't get one TG to work they keep changing TG till they thought they had it right and stayed there. If figure when Mabscott or Sophia goes to the system and is assign to that talk group the RCSO will figure out they are on the wrong TG and switch over to the one they should be on.
