Catching encryption on TG 623 off Sands Spings tower. Radio id 60102, 60103, 60104, 64101, 64252, 96239, 98006, 98288.
I have heard on multiple occasions Preston County Sheriff say they were switching to secure channel so I'm pretty sure that channel is their secure channel. On a side note, I can't wait for Preston County Fire to move to SIRN. I don't always pick up their analog channels very well.

Weirton Tower has switched to phase 2. Ohio County Fire Dispatch was monitored off the Weirton tower and showing TDMA while I was running DSD Plus. That was the only talk group that showed TDMA so far.Weirton Tower.PNGOC FIRE DISPATCH.PNG

TG-2250 was from a list that was provided to me two or three years ago. I have never listened to it to be sure who it is, so that is why I never submitted it to the database. It was something that I had labeled in my DSD Plus. However it is a very active TG.

Just started seeing TGs 9007 and 9019 on the Martinsburg site. Never heard (doesn't mean it never has been) 9019 on any site close and 9007 is usually only on the Hampshire Co. sites. I can check Unitrunker in a little while.

Just heard the 9019 Beckley TGID on the Martinsburg site... didn't sound like a two-way convo, though, and hard to understand from my shack in Hampshire County. Wonder what's up? No one (at least that I can hear) is responding to him--unit 244. Computer gateway mixup?

You could check the radio IDs to see if a unit from Beckley happened to be affiliated to the Martinsburg site. All it takes is for one radio to be affiliated to the site to steer the talkgroup traffic to it. It could be a local user channel surfing or a unit from Beckley travelling. It's highly unlikely that it is a system error.

Was thinking the same thing. Listening to the traffic on the 2 mentioned TGs and the Troop 2 East dispatch (9005), it sounded like they had something going on. I am assuming that someone was monitoring them off the Martinsburg site.

I'm finding it odd that the system would give channel grants to 9019 on the Martinsburg site.. I presumed that TG would be valid only on sites in the Beckley region.. The reason I say that is that I am always seeing a ton of affiliation denials on the OC simulcast from radios on 9001 Fairmont and 9013 Parkersburg and occasional denials from other WVSP dispatch TGs.....
On the Ohio Co site, I have never ever, not a single time, seen an affiliation or channel grant issued to a radio on any State Police talkgroup other than the local Moundsville 9003. And because of this observation, I just assumed that all State Police dispatch talkgroups statewide were only valid in their home region- unless what I have observed over the last 10 years is just an anomaly of the Ohio County site...

Does anyone around Ohio County who may be listening know why Wheeling Fire and Ohio County Fire are telling all responders on all dispatched calls to stay on fire dispatch when they tone out a call? Both have always issued a tac channel assignment for every dispatched call .. In fact when Wheeling Fire had a small electrical fire around 16:00 this day, the chief instructed all companies to operate on talkaround once on scene... Does that even make sense why they would refrain from using the tactical channels? Could they be working on moving them to TDMA possibly? I have no clue but something is fishy.

I’m hearing there are issues with granting access to radios on the tac channels I don’t think this is a radio problem because it’s current radios they’ve already had not sure exactly what’s going on. I did hear for sure thought that it’s not letting radios key up on certain TGID

West Lib and clearview have a medical and I'm showing conversations on their private channels but Im not hearing any voice on any of my phase 1 scanners on those 2 TG so I'm wondering if they are using TDMA now or of its just a radio problem like you are hearing..
I am currently hearing OC law just fine on the phase 1 scanners... weird how that is showing Phase 2

But the log definitely shows like they are having a successful conversation on Clearview Fire...

I see in my log both TGID 9019 and 9007 came across the McWhorter site in Harrison county today. I had 47 hits on 9007 and 7 hits on 9019. I wasn't around to hear what was said on them though.
