Hmm. I think that might go against the SIRN rules.
I was also thinking that. I read through all those a while back. I was thinking it said that no dispatch channel could be encrypted. So in this case, they got around that but not using the dispatch channel at all. I would think that is still against the SIRN rules.

The county obviously doesn't care about the rules. Yes I did see a rule that dispatch channels could not be encrypted however they could be doing what they are currently doing to force a rule change.

Might be kinda dumb question, but here it goes. So previously when in the north end of Brooke county on the Weirton tower, I could not receive any traffic from Ohio County. It seemed Ohio county simulcast was not linked or talking to Weirton. I understand that is possible because Weirton is a stand alone. However the past 4-5 days I have been able to hear everything on Ohio County off the Weirton tower with a Unication pager. Again this is new I never was able to receive Ohio County off the Weirton tower. Could this new update have something to do with it. Bigger range radius, or maybe with both towers being TDMA now that could play effect. It may sound strange I don’t know but thaught I’d throw it out there

What talk groups are you hearing off the Weirton tower? I monitored Weirton tower with DSD plus today and did not see much activity from Ohio county.

I would assume they are for talking to pike island or other rescue boats if there is a emergency on the river

I’ve tried that in for some reason it only works certain times. I shut down and restarted Fast-Lane and that corrected the problem. I have no ides why that happed. Oh well its working again.

As long as you are focused on the DSDplus screen (one of them) and not fmp, it works all the time :)

FPMA but remotely.

The "d" option for disregard doesn't have anything to do with FMP*. It's a DSDPlus command. And thus it needs to be pressed when you have focus on a DSDplus screen and not an FMP screen. That's what I'm getting at. Maybe you were pressing "d" while focused on the FMP screen, which very well could be doing something completely different (and unforeseen) lol.
