Heard a Hines VA Medical Center Police unit using RID 185003 on SC21 TG 30328 (IESMA Statewide) a handful of times this afternoon. Seems to be a case of "wrong radio". No 185xxx RIDs were previously listed in the RR SC21 Wiki, so I added this one.

Anyone running Pro96Com, etc. have unidentified 185xxx RIDs in their notes/records? If so, which ones and what TG(s) did they appear on? I'm guessing that this isn't the only 185xxx RID on SC21, and Hines VA Police might not be the only agency using RIDs in this new (to me, at least) range.

It appears that TG 25131 and TG 25242 are being patched together based on what I saw after running Unitrunker all day yesterday (May 10th). TG 25131 is Phase 2, while TG 25242 is Phase I. When looking at the RIDs, I noticed that I got 5763500, which someone stated is from a Hometown PD unit (along with other RIDs in the 57635xx range). Perhaps this is the TG(s) being used by Hometown?

Just heard Hometown PD officer inquiring to Evergreen PD on OLREC-1 (36961), if they could accept a prisoner transport to their lock-up. RID for the Hometown unit was 5763500, which coincides with other departments being dispatched by Cook County on their encrypted site.

I'll assume it was encrypted?

While reviewing SC21 recordings from this past Tuesday, I caught a couple of units (RIDs 189100 and 189101) performing mobile coverage testing in Willow Springs, La Grange and La Grange Park on talkgroup 34485. Police and Fire units for all three of these towns are dispatched by Lyons Township Area Communications Center (LTACC). Sounded like these might have been folks from LTACC, as there was reference to having police and fire units test indoor portable coverage in the future.
We've been hearing both Lagrange FD (RID's 189100/189101) and Western Springs FD (RID's 189200/189201) testing today with LTACC (RID 189708) on TGID 34488 this morning from various locations throughout their villages. I heard traffic on both Cook (1-002) & DuPage (1-001) Sites.
34485 was carrying the Division 10 patch earlier, not on at the moment. Both DuPage and Cook sites used, another poster reported affiliation on Northwest Central site but that one isn't in my range so can't confirm.

It's looking (unfortunately not hearing), like LTACC Police Depts. (LaGrange, LaGrange Park, Western Springs)has migrated to Starcom 21. TGID 34481 active with encrypted traffic, RID's are showing LTACC Dispatch 189991, 1894xx, 1895xx. 1897xx series. VHF frequency has been very quiet today.

Countryside PD will be joining them in the near future. BrookfieldPD used to be on the old VHF frequency with the towns you mention above. So it looks like we are all done with that frequency.

I did read that Countryside has been in talks with the LTACC about joining them. We heard some fire testing on 34485, 34488, do you have information on Fire or anything else you can share?

No - I really don't except for that during one of the Village Of Western Springs board of trustee regular meetings they made the announcement. The director of LTACC was also present recently. I am hoping that somebody can broadcast the new frequency as I do not have a compatible scanner.

I did hear yesterday on VHF 154.800 the switch over starting with roll call. I have not tuned into 154.250 which is fire and EMS the last couple of days. I will check today.

Chicago Suburban Fire Departments, MABAS and IFERN They are also broadcasting on the VHF frequency also. They are currently responding to a DOA in La Grange Park.

I'm "seeing" (not hearing) encryption on TGID 36967 off the Christ Hosp. stand-alone site (1-030) this morning. I've seen encrypted activity on this talk group before and has been Oak Lawn series RID's (1782xx series). From previous monitoring of this system, these match up with Oak Lawn detective units. I would suspect this is Oak Lawn PD-Secure channel or along those lines?

Lyons and a number of other non-LTACC FDs are dispatched on 154.250 (146.2), which is being multicast by LTACC on SC21 TG 34485. Only La Grange, La Grange Park and Western Springs FDs are being dispatched on SC21 TG 34485. The other agencies are being heard on that talkgroup simply as a result of LTACC's multicast of 154.250 (146.2).

Here's a question...
I ran across WPKP764 during a search and noticed they listed the CPD tower at 2452 W Belmont as a location. I don't see anything listed in the database for a site there. Also on this tower is WPKI933 and WPXM784. What am I missing?
