At one time, EDWARD 99 was the governor's mansion in Springfield and EDWARD 99 NORTH was the governor's residence in Chicago. This is going back to the mid-to-late 80s, dunno if it still holds true today.

I would be surprised if the "E-Edward" radio signature would be used by a municipality unless it was preceded with a number or identified as in "LaSalle Edward 1", or something along that line to eliminate confusion.

I'm hearing LaSalle County Sheriff's Office "PAUL" units performing coverage testing with their dispatch on SC21 TG 30306 (SWIT Region 3) tonight. Earlier today it was two "EDWARD" units doing the same thing with the sheriff's office dispatch.
It appears that LaSalle County EMA uses both 4200-series and EDWARD unit identifiers. In addition, a few LaSalle County Sheriff's Office units were heard with coverage testing last night on SC21 TG 30306. One unit even made a few traffic stops on this TG. Perhaps LCSO is shopping for an alternate to Clear Talk.

I wonder if they will move to SC21 like round lake did. Is North Chicago still dispatched on Quad2 and Waukegan on 154.415?
They will. North Chicago FD is actually on the Quad 1 freq (154.325) and Waukegan is still on theirs. While this is purely speculation on my part (I have no proof), I think that all Fire Depts in Lake Co will eventually switch over to StarCom21.

Used to also listen to Evanston FD and OPRF PD and FD. But after I transitioned to digital scanning last year I’ve pretty much stopped listening to anything analog. Cannot stand the static and voice quality.

@kevino ... You updated DuPage county today, but I cannot see the changes that were made. How do I see those?
For some reason, updates aren't always highlighted even if you choose the option to only see new/updated things (c'mon Lindsey, fix this annoying issue!). Anywho, within brackets, I noticed that he added the names of many channels as they appear on their APX radios.

For example,
1 North: Hanover Park, Roselle Police [DU 1NORTH]
Lombard Local [DU LMBRD LOCAL] aka Channel 2

Also, it appears that for the InterOp channels, the odd numbered ones are clear (unencrypted) and even numbered are ENC.

When a DB admin makes changes/additions to the database, there's a checkbox to keep the change from highlighting the change in the database.

I can't speak for all admins but if there's a small change nobody would care about such as fixing a spelling error or typo, I'll check that box.
There may be some types of changes that don't result in anything getting highlighted like deleting a frequency or a TG.

I suggested once you click on the hyperlink, it would take you directly to the change instead of scrolling through a large system.

I've been doing some tracking of the 344xx Talkgroups reportedly belonging to WestCom (via Site 1-002 Cook South), and it appears that TG 34417 is some sort of future Fire channel. Currently, the TG is patched to their VHF Fire Dispatch freq of 159.120 (D174). On VHF, I'm hearing many mobiles and portables with a digital voice, and I can confirm that they're TX'ing through SC21 since I am getting various 149xxx RIDs at the same time. Unfortunately, this specific TG is ENC just like most of the others.
