I can't remember but I think that may have been myself. I do recall either listening to training or some type of fire and they were using some of the mutual aid channels and I believe they were using the countywide channel. I could have sworn that I submitted countywide but perhaps I heard something else at the time and never thought to check.

You are correct :) You have a great memory . You are the one who first submitted it, and you updated your submission a few months after the original submission to change it from "county line" to "countywide" but the old DB admin who worked your submission (who is long gone) didn't bother to actually update the database.

Thanks for your contributions, and your service !

Hearing some reception testing on 45183. Mentioning Rose Twp, Delroy, Brookford, Monroe Twp. They only mentioned the channel name once. It sounded like "pawn ems". Unit names unit Medic 61, 6302, 6301.

Yep. I've played that audio back a dozen or so times. "6301 on Quad EMS". It was very muffled, but also matches apparatus number on Quads website. Thanks for the help sleuthing this.

My buddy in East Rochester called me today to tell me it sounded like Quad also. We then tuned to it and heard Squad 61 talking to dispatch about problems that Squad 62 was having last night (which turned out to be some issue with the button on the radio).

45129 MOMAQUAD - Mohawk Valley JFD Radio IDs (that I've seen thus far) are:

P25, BEE00.348, 45129, 7600829, 50, Normal, 3, 2018/12/28 14:07, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45129, 7600830, 50, Normal, 4, 2018/12/28 14:30, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45129, 7600831, 50, Normal, 18, 2019/01/02 20:50, "Medic 61 - Quad"
P25, BEE00.348, 45129, 7600834, 50, Normal, 2, 2018/12/28 13:52, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45129, 7600836, 50, Normal, 18, 2019/01/02 21:25, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45129, 7600837, 50, Normal, 1, 2019/01/02 20:04, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45129, 7990177, 50, Normal, 3, 2018/12/15 14:36, ""

45183 Radio IDs (that I've seen thus far) are:

P25, BEE00.348, 45183, 7600827, 50, Normal, 8, 2019/01/02 20:52, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45183, 7600828, 50, Normal, 7, 2019/01/02 18:36, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45183, 7600832, 50, Normal, 16, 2019/01/02 21:03, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45183, 7600833, 50, Normal, 39, 2019/01/02 21:37, ""
P25, BEE00.348, 45183, 7600835, 50, Normal, 10, 2019/01/02 21:06, ""
- plus 7600831 (Medic 61 - Quad)

In DSDPlus, in the DSDPlus.Radios file the radio IDs are only shown under the last talkgroup they were using. Medic 61 was definitely on 45183 as well as the MOMAQUAD talkgroup.

So Quad EMS does sound like a winner to me for 45183.

I am at work but caught some traffic on 45165. I'm not sure if it's Canton PD but they were giving a description of a male somewhere around 2nd and Cleveland. One stated that he was still in Samantha's, which is in that area also.

They often appear to do some testing in the clear, and then if the TG is going to be encrypted they seem to then switch to ENC after testing.

45032 CANTON PD DISP - 100% ENC thus far
45033 CANTON PD 2 - 100% ENC thus far

So I suspect that as far as Canton PD goes, any talkgroup devoted to them is likely to be 100% ENC.

I kinda figured that they would be encrypted.

canton police only encrypted on dispatch and channel 2. Since it was that way on the old system I assume it will be that way on the new one. CPD3 was never encrypted
