Does anyone have a mapping for the Charles channels for Canyon Fire/EMS? I keep hearing incidents moved to Charles 3 which I can't find a VHF counterpart for... Charles 1=14400

Makes me wonder why they cant have Dispatch open like they do in Ada county. Not sure if its the sheriff himself who actually makes these decisions as Caldwell and Nampa PD are 100% encrypted as well.
Id like to hear some of Nampa and Canyon Sheriff radio traffic to kind of get an idea of how they do things, etc.
All this encryption is making me wanna know what goes on behind it. i wonder if they still use codes and jargon, or if maybe they talk in plain english? And cant forget those talkgroup/channel assignments. Looks like CCS and NPD have multiple TG's

Been trying that one myself, possibly 14402? Guessing "charles 3" means Zone C - Ch 3?
I didnt know CC fire was still on VHF to be honest. They may be doing like Ada did before going all digital where Dispatch is simulcast but side channels are all digital

I can tell there are still units on the Fire side in Canyon County transmitting on VHF... They're understandable... 700 P25 patch to narrowband VHF blows goats.
There are some patch issues as well... Canyon Response 154.115 is patched from a 700 TG but only the mobile units come through - dispatch does not key the VHF repeater.

now 16 years here in Idaho and was with AFD for 22 years.
Recently all PS comms in Anchorage have gone encrypted ALL..... Yes including FD and EMS
and AST has been encrypted for a few years, so basically nothing of interest to listen to in Anchorage anymore. Too bad for those folks up north.
