Your last 15 post 10 have ask when is it going to be done?
It will be done when the Backbone is completed all the hardware is installed and tested. You need to learn to have patience as this is not a plug and play setup. Several things have to be done 1st and use an existing system Backbone should not be used. This will require more bandwidth from site to site.

I remember decades ago when KSP went from Low Band to UHF. It took many years for the whole system to be fully converted. It's a big state with lots of hills and valleys so many sites are required.

(And if encryption comes into play, then we'll end up wishing it took longer than it did.)

Does anyone know if they’ve made it to Post 6 yet, with testing or anything new.
No. The first phase, Western KY, Post 1 & 2 haven’t even switched over yet. Post 6 will likely be one of the last in the central phase rollout.

Per DB Admin Handbook section 5.2
  • Frequencies and sites must be confirmed by monitoring to avoid conflicts with existing systems.

Since this system is not online the frequencies and sites can't be confirmed.

One day you'll just turn on your scanner and there they'll be.

Then we can all celebrate like wild party animals ;-)

They might be staying with the uhf and changed their minds cause it looks like we would be hearing testing or something going on

They’ve not changed there minds. This system is still being built out. There are phases to the system, which can be delayed from all sorts of things. There’s nothing new to post which is why you haven’t heard anything new.
