General question:
Does this system have any formal name like most of the other systems in surrounding states (i.e. Illinois STARCOM21, Tennessee TACN, Indiana SAFE-T, Ohio MARCS, etc.)?
General comment:
Back in the early 2000's when KSP switched from analog to their UHF P-25 conventional system, many of the sites/frequencies took months to be licensed in the FCC database regardless of post. That being said, it would be well advised to being searching the 768-774 Mhz band on a regular basis as this system comes on-line. PRO96COM, Unitrunker, Uniden SDS Discovery mode and the good old-fashioned SEARCH function will prove helpful in the coming days and weeks.
Glad to see this transition finally coming to the Bluegrass State.
