Yeah for the DB. I allready put it and a USCG air freq. I got a hit on the other day on our Federal page. Appreciate the affirmation though and the Wiki update. :)
Darren is our Hattiesburg area guru so I'm sure he'll get around to logging that info if it's there to be found. :D

For the RR DB ?? most of us have submitted under Federal and a sub-category of Civil Air Patrol.

I just updated the RR WIKI

Anyone with info for the Tones/Freq's for the
Ackerman, Newton, Jackson, Hattiesburg and Tupelo Rptrs???

Hearing ATF this evening on 173.0125 P25 possably a repeater.

talking with Blue Thunder (Aircraft) following someone on I-10

Sometimes they go to whisper mode and the transmission becomes encrypted.

Also hearing activity on FBI 167.3875 P25. Not sure if they are connected.

Picking up one side of traffic on the BATFE freq. (173.0125 650 NAC) here at this very moment.

LOL you beat me too it.

I've heard "is he still northbound?" about 5 times now so maybe not I-10? at least not now.

ah, When he said Three Rivers I about shat myself. LOL One (of several I'm sure) is about 5 miles north of me. I believe there is one in Harrison County as well, so that makes sense too.

Okay all I'm hearing is the Helo side of the convo....

10-04, those are definately simplex channels.

The two main Rptrs will be 148.1250 and 148.1500
with 148.1375 as a Tactical/Airborne Rptr from time-time

So far I have only heard them on 141.57500 and 150.22500 in Hattiesburg, but it wasn't through a repeater.
Just mobile to mobile.

Give 167.1625 a try as well, next time the 173 is active.

Some interesting/conflicting reports of 173.0125 being TAC-3 [simplex] as well as a Tactical/Portable Repeater using 167.1625 TAC-1 [simplex] as the input [both using $650]

Yeah I was following the aircraft side of the 138.2 traffic also, sounded like a tanker maybe? First picked up on them a while ago when I heard them say they were over Baton Rouge, on track 2, and gave a rather LARGE fuel load number (10's of thousands) that I happened not to write down. LOL

Got one new one for ya too. I been kinda sitting on this one because traffic is sparse on it but it is always a good signal for me so it seems fairly close to the coast I guess.

164.300 FM Air to Ground. Aircraft alway calls "maintenance control, maintenance control" then his 4 digit numeric call sign (tail number maybe?) A while ago he was 20 minutes out and "plane's only discrep is loading HF radios" Wiki says UGCG so I guess that fits well enough?

nICE hehe

Copied AR101 here too.

Some occasional activity on 345.000 this evening as well. The aircraft was just now talking to someone about doing a couple of touch and go's.

Darren FYI this morning the VHF ducting was very intense, the tropospheric ducting map showed the entire south east region of the US and gulf of mexico as shades of yellow and purple with a few red areas. Spoke to a guy in north-east Arkansas this morning around 8 AM on my club's repeater, and another in Ocala, Florida.

The rest of the week's forecast is pretty intense too. Sunday it dies down some but I'm sure there will be a lot of VHF stuff to pick up in the morning time for the remainder of the week. I think Friday there is going to be a massive duct that goes through the entire state straight up into the great lakes region.

Tropospheric Ducting Forecast for VHF & UHF Radio & TV

Also.. Been hearing fighters on both of these frequencies pretty regularly this week while driving around the coast. one was having trouble with his radar and another was asking if he wanted to try to shoot him with an SRAAM so they were dogfighting.

148.4500 AM
148.5500 AM

Ok...a little deeper mystery...Getting simultaneous Sandhill Crane traffic on 169.675, 169.725 along with the aforementioned 411.900 and the well known 169.650 all 094 NAC. This all seems to conicide with transmissions containing "on repeater..."
