Got this from a listener off another list :
"I'm a member of the USCG aux and a certified watch stander for the USCG. Received notice today that big changes are coming to CG HF comms. Camspac at Point Reyes, Ca is being terminated and operational control will shift to Camslant. The same will happen to Comsat Kodiak. These stations will be remotely operated. The new station will be called Commscom "

Unusual for weekend but quite a bit of PAX acty noted this morning on test discretes 376.8, 277.05, a couple of Mach speed runs (270.8 & 354.8).
Maybe they are trying to make for lost time this week because of the wx.

If you have long over-water shot then you might be able to pick up some stuff when they go out to the northern edge of the Atlantic Test Track---especially if they are high enough

I'm headed out to ADW tomorrow afternoon for some photo ops (testing new 150-500mm Lens) in hopes of AF1 w/ Pres, AF2 w/ VP, or The Sec. Def w/ E-4B decide to come home from their trips with their aircraft entourages. If anyone heres then and would be willing to put real time updates on here. I'd appreciate it. Its otherwise boring sitting out there waiting for the Liberator or Tower Frequencies to come alive.
