I'd bet if we had an SBS user in the Moscow area, we'd hear REACH 960 landing at Moscow-Vnukovo in a few hours.

Give it a couple days and you'll probably see it on Airliners.net...the spotters over there are pretty consistent.

Going over my recordings from Friday morning, I have N200XT departing KMGY for MYAX...tells the controller it's a Phenom 100, serial [50000]029, just built a month ago. Spent a day there and returned today after a stop at KFPR. What a slick jet that thing is - I'm hoping to drive over to the airport and catch it sometime.

FYI, ETHYL 71 recently took off from Pease and is now meeting up with REACH 960 in AR-20NE
using the secondary freq of 349.700 JADE 44 and ETHYL LIMA 1&2 are using the primary freq
341.750 but are way out of my range now.

RCH960 was 04-4133 C-17A
also earlier were
RCH373 02-1100 C-17A 6.30pm FL270
RCH374 01-0190 C-17A 7.45pm FL200

Also just noticed that RCH281 was through here headed Eastbound in the climb [FL290-FL330]
at 8.35pm and coming back Westbound at 9.55pm. Wondering if he had a problem.

Thought I heard callsign JADE 44 with ZNY Kennedy.

Mark, nice logs!

I went back and listened to my recording, you were correct about JADE 44.
He gave ETHYL LIMA 1 his tail number in AR-20NE and it was indeed
74-0787 the same as your ABYSS. Hope this helps.

Adding a small piece to the pie.

Never did get SAM91, he must have headed up further north.

Just had RCH276 07-7180 C-17A with ETHYL[70?] 63-8003 KC-135R on the box, and
heard on interplane. RCH276 said he was just out of Charleston, only a couple of hours
into his day. Going to Rota, long day ahead.

8.30 to 8.45pm had KC-10A`s 84-0188 and 85-0030 pass through [SBS Team15 and Cabal81].
Possible these were the ETHYL L1/L2 from the E-4 earlier

Adrian, just to add....
I did hear SAM 91 check in w/ZBW on 133.450 at 0129z at FL310.
You were correct, it was ETHYL 70 with REACH 276.
The ETHYLs, L1&L2 were from Bangor. I only heard a small snippet from their tails but L1 started wit 59-
Reception was bad at that point and I thought it was 59-1436 and L2 ended with 1470. Very hard to pull them out
of the recording.

Hope this helps,

I thought I heard him on 128.75 then leave, then come back to it.....hmmmm. Your right, wonder if he
did have a problem. Last I heard him was on 124.525 ZBW.

Ed, I believe they were 59-1482 and 59-1470. Those two were logged by a Halifax station at the same time shortly after 2100 local. About 45 minutes later, 62-3506 from Pease was noted too.

2003 Also some comes on 363.300 listed as VMA-231 A/A
mentions he tried Dover,McGuire metro's with no joy.
Could be VMA 231 AV-8's flight southbound to Cherry Point.
SPADE 11 flight trying Andrews or any metro 344.600..nobody home!
Must be the Ace of Spades VMA-231

Mark

That would indeed be AV-8's from VMA-231. I'm guessing it was a flight of 3, headed home from Binghamton NY where they performed at an airshow. They stopped in at Willow Grove on Thursday about 1415 for a quick fill up, then onto Binghamton. Pilot said they were trying to get as close as possible to Binghamton with some uncertain weather, and KNXX was the stop.
One had the 'new' paint scheme, pilot said it 'looks rediculous, and just plain old makes no sense'. Supposed to only use two shades of grey instead of three, so a tatical 'weight' advantage. He said BS.

Egyptian C-130

Around 1300 EDT saw Egyptian C-130 landing at BWI---didn't have usual desert camouflage---but was in silver, white & blue color scheme---Egyptian flag prominent on the rudder.

JOSA 469 (C-21A, 84-0118) dropping off 2 pax (1 S4), 2 space A's going through; departed at 1302Z, asked Dispatch to pass on departure message to MacDill

PAT 533 (unid) called in but was scratchy, think he said it was a passenger pickup; departed at 1705Z and climbed quickly - might've been a UC-35; direct ROD before switching to ZID

NASA 806 (ER-2, N806NA) back on the ground just after 1730Z

The MOAs are hot right now, but I'm not hearing any A/A comms at the moment.

Mode-S tells me it was C-130H, 1281/SU-BAM. Log began at 1247. This should have been flight EGY 1113 if they kept the numbering sequence in order. This is what it looked like in April:

A second Air Force air wing (451st Expeditionary Wing) stood up today at Kandahar, Afghanistan. Its commander is BG Guy M. Walsh who was plucked from the commanders role at Martin State. He led the 175th Wing before this new assignment. The other wing in Afghanistan is at Bagram. I wonder if he'll start plucking some of MTN's aircraft for a tour there?
