Travis, I think you have a wrong ID in your system for that guy. If it was ADFF00, the tail should be 96-0112, an Army C-12. I heard him on 133.9 calling himself "Army 112." I've never seen a B-1B turn on a Mode-S transponder.

That definitely make more sense.
The info for the GAF462 aircraft is all screwed up too. It's in my DB as a Russian Air Force AN-26, yet in the AC type it correctly lists A310.

1810- Here comes E-6B 164407 from the west out past Charlottesville.
1826- NAVY-700 ZDC-Calvert.
JOCKEY-37 with Calvert also, the E-6B? The altitude seems to match.

That definitely make more sense.
The info for the GAF462 aircraft is all screwed up too. It's in my DB as a Russian Air Force AN-26, yet in the AC type it correctly lists A310.
.

Yes when i first got RB up and going I also had log of same B-1 and mislabeled German/Russian aircraft.A few other mistakes in the original database as well.
Takes a while to clean them out and edit them correctly as they pop-up.
Use the Mylog frequently along with your own database research.
The other day had a log as Cessna 172 aircraft but showed at 40k feet.. DOH!

Off topic good news..
Canada has ordered the deportation of the first woman US soldier to have sought asylum in the country to avoid being deployed to Iraq.
Kimberly Rivera, a mother of three, had requested permission to remain in Canada on humanitarian grounds but her appeal was rejected.
She could face up to five years in prison when she returns to the US.
Some 200 deserters from the US military are believed to have fled to Canada, some living incognito.

Pete, I heard that as well, although rather weak ...... and about 1 hour later I heard a couple of weak calls on 341.750 [AR20NE] which *sounded* like the same voice.

Possibly E-8 or E-4????

Guys,

0850- Wild flt (F-16s, 121st FS DC ANG ADW)-on interplane freq (139.15). Wild3 has some sort of acft problem so they contact the SOF (139.9). Wild 3 declares IFE and Wild 4 is in chase position as they RTB Andrews.

They were on their way to W107. Wild 3 has acft "bat" (sounds like) failure and declares IFE and will shut down in the EPU area between the runways.

Wild 4 has FMS failure and wants SOF to try and string the cable on the runway just in case since he'll be landing "heavy". SOF suggests using afterburner on way home to burn more fuel.

Mark,

Had him w/Potomac (124.55). Geez !!! taking the big plane for such a short flight----I guess "W" wants to go out in style. Could've used a helo

Last year when he came to KILG 100 miles from KADW he also used the Big jet.
Safer I guess overall than Choppers.

1219 AF-1 back up out of Philly on 119.750 enr Dupont nav.
1223 AF-1 push 125.525 Balt.
1230 AF-1 back with Balt/Pot appch direct Andrews 124.550
1234 AF-1 push 119.850 Pot/Andrews appch 8k down to 6k.
1236 AF-1 on 119.300 Adw's appch.
1239 AF-1 Andrews tower for full stop 118.400
Counting Phila tower which I wasn't hearing only 6 frequency changes from Phila-Andrews. Yikes!

1245 DARKSTAR on 255.000 GK will be working WILD flight in W-107 till 1900z
1247 E-3 #78-0578 shows up on board at 29k feet as SENTRY 50.

DARKSTAR is no doubt holding at the standoff area which could be 100-200 miles away from the action. I no longer hear his transmissions.
1348: WILD flight handed off to assigned freq...337.225
And now they're ready to work and I've got to run off so that's all for now. Those flights show it's not that simple to get from Point A to Point B without several freq changes even over a very short distance. I couldn't imagine trying to monitor milair with just one radio - especialy the new scanners with dynamic memory since you can't hop from freq to freq easily as on the older radios. I would have missed about half the above - and there are plenty of aircraft working other freqs in the area. All nine of my primary radios are hopping with activity and I could press my backups (another five of them) into service and keep them all busy. Okay...enough chatter. Gone.

1302: After several attempts, TERRA 97 (C-32B, 00-9001, 227th SOF NJ-ANG McGuire) contacts Andrews...asks if he got his earlier message about needing airstairs, parking and that he's dropping off 12 passengers...141.55 (Full ADS-B shows him coming from the west/southwest. Active runways at Andrews today are from the south to 1R/L)

I've just logged a couple flights that I haven't been able to find IDs for anywhere online.
AE138E
AE1395 This was unidentified in early December too. Altitude is varying up and down. A T-6A?
AE1393 T-6A is flying around too at similar altitudes.

1630- I've heard VADER-41 with TRACON a few times 335.5

AE1395 and AE1393 timeout occasionally, but when I regain them they're still at similar altitudes. Probably offshore is my guess.

AE1190 is seen sometimes too. One DB has it with the flight ID VVSD534

1721- ADFDB3 TROUT-98 IDing as AVIONICS is around again. www.libhomeradar.org associates the mode-s with both IDs.

I mentioned to Mark a bit ago that there's that series of hex codes that are unidentified and fly very often in this area. Some suspect they are C-130s and some have thought one or two of them are T-6s. We just don't know. The funny thing is that I've never been able to find matching voice when they fly and I've tried dozens of times. I lean more toward the C-130 theory (altitudes) but can't imagine who they'd be or why they don't talk. That series of hex codes has littered my log today. Had the three you listed plus AE138D flying today.
