They are also considering closing towers at Frederick, Easton, Martin State and Hagerstown - basically all non-military towered airports in Maryland except for BWI.

Have 2x A-10's doing to some Air to Air training this morning
in R-4006. A-A 293.2 and Mode S AE18EF = AC705
i wasnt aware A-10 had mode S. Still new to to this Mode S dongle.

Slamm and Bandit's 73/31/33 dogfighting in W-386. Unkown if they are F-22 or T-38 since the majority of Langley F-22 are overseas.
Using 363.9/233.525/350.05
F-16's from DC Air Guard
Bully 01 Angry 01 and Weasel 31 and working with forward air controller Zombie in Vienna Maryland. Tried to go secure but unable.
256.5(baywatch) / 143.6(bully)/ 139.15 (angry) /305.2 (weasel)
Topcat 05 air refueling Weasel 31 and Devil 11 4x F-16 from Atlantic City 270.8(giant killer) 288.0 (Primary AR).Topcat 05 62-3508 KC-135 Mcguire NJ. Each receiver got 6K each.

Now have voice over the data signal. Not sure if it's AM, NFM or WFM. In WFM mode the squelch knocks out the signal. Voice at times sounds like SSB, not quite understandable.

MC-130J Testing Pax River
Last few weeks I've been hearing Hytek 77 (AE4BE6 - 09-5713 MC-130J) doing air refueling tests with
V-22 osprey. Also a chase aircraft (saltydog) is involved filming the tests. Air to Air on 235.875.
Today Hytek did a low approach at SBY before recovering at Pax River and I got some pictures of him.

Nice photos. HYTEK is from 27SOW | 522SOS at Cannon AFB NM [KCVS]. Probably training on how to refuel V-22s since I'm sure some CV-22's will be used by Special Forces.
