Same here. I had to look at my radio also because I thought it was something bleeding over. It isn't very often they do this. This is the 2nd time I caught them on FM in recent memory.

1950 local- BUNDY 11 (flt of 2) passing through NY/NJ at FL 380 on 282.3, then handed off to Boston 346.3 ....Can't find this one listed any where. Any one know who this is? They just said their tankers were canceled.

Friday afternoon about 1540 saw two A-10s flyover. awesome. I believe they were working 256.6.

Saturday about 1440, two hot jocks (F-16?) flew over and a few minutes later a big boy (maybe a tanker). no radio.
too bad I didn't have a camera available

Hearing the Guard Dog CAP on 260.9. Fighters joining up for AR right now.
I think it's NJ ANG with the duty. Callsign COSMIC. Air>air on 140.1

Right you are, I haven't been checking the TFRs like I used to as Guard Dog is very infrequent under this administration-

One of the fighter pilots just mentioned that he could see an American flag mowed into the grass near the helipad at Camp David.

I don't if I just misheard them earlier or there is a different unit on duty now, but now it seems that the SC ANG 169th FW has the CAP. They mentioned home station being McEntire AFB and now I'm understanding the callsign as STALK. Earlier I thought I was just hearing the beginning of COSMIC getting cut off, the freq was right for NJ ANG though.

I'm thinking MC-12s. What frequencies?

I actually passed by Lakehurst yesterday and was listening to some activity on the NJ trunked system. There was some sort of Army training going. There was an aerostat airborne at 2000ft.
