It's a Site 3 (RAN=3) voice channel. Back a bit in this thread the channels are listed (mostly). Would help if you can report on the signal strength of the various CC's as nobody seems to know their locations (even generally) for Site 3,4, and 7.

The DB is not up to date.

And unfortunately, 100% ENC.

I looked at the submission history for this system. No one has ever made a submission for it.

Does this help anyone? I had to take a drive and find me a hill to park on outside of Renfrew to get the following. Also what does the S Q and A stand for again? I forget.

Sys ID though doesn't say 2088 though it's different. Does that matter?

Hex ID 00828 = 2088 decimal. DSD+ defaults to decimal, suits me. Maybe scanner has that option?

You might have to run more verbose logging to see it, and you would see it in the DOS screen.

Notice the "CompCC" -- for Composite Control Channel. If you see CompCC, you know that the control channel can serve voice too, and if you see voice on a CC you'll likely see DSDPlus display IDAS during the voice call.

UPDATE: Actually, CompCC will reveal that the CC is set up to handle voice if needed, but that doesn't guarantee a single channel site. In my area, starting out the regional NXDN system of one provider had only a single channel active per site. Now those same sites have multiple channels, yet the control channel still reports CompCC. So I'm not sure that CompCC present in the advertisements by the system is indicative of a single-channel site, but rather just indicates that the CC will perform double duty as a voice channel if the need arises. Somebody who knows more than I will have to verify that.

Found a new Site 8 with CC on 165.045 (Channel =18). Could not get a Neighbour list from it (weak signal). May be another single-channel site like 7.

I'm new to NXDN. I bough the liscance for my 436 and loaded using ProScan on my scanner but I'm not getting anything from any of the sites. I'm in Gatineau and would image that MRC des collines would come in strong.

Have you had that problem with ProScan?

I think Site 7 is a single-channel site, still weak here but managed to catch some enc. voice
on 152.750, but have not seen any other channels active.

152.750 CC converts to VC frequently. A couple of times I've seen Ch. 7 (153.515 on Site 2) show
up but can't confirm it's not a bit of interference, or weird decode error. Someone else might confirm,
hold off DB update.

Not knowing where Site 7 or 2 is, but if far enough apart, some frequency re-use is possible.

BTW Site 1 channel 3 is a typo, should be 165.735. Also, CC on Site 4 is 151.9100.

Sorry Luc, I cannot help with your 436 and ProScan issues, but the system appears to be 100% encrypted
so you will not be able to hear anything interesting. The best we can do is track frequencies, sites,
and TG activity.

I've remedied that. Maybe Luc's 436 will work now.
