I'm not hearing anything on the talkgroups for Texas A&M University (College Station) DMR

I'm getting good strength on the signal

I'm using a BCD436HP

Did the they change site frequencies?

I'm, obviously, way out of range to verify anything in your area.

However, I see quite a few talkgroups for Texas A & M on the TxWARN system. The listed ones are mostly public safety: PD & EMS related. However, they may have switched other departments to TxWARN as well, but nobody in that area has yet submitted more specific updates.

You might try adding the related sites in Brazos County (if you are in range, and see what pops up.

Try these sites (if you don't already have them programmed):

College Station

Henzel Park (TAMU)

Scan those sites, especially the Henzel Park location, with your scanner in ID Search mode. For "known talkgroups" (those already listed in the database, other than the specific A & M ones), program them, then set them to Avoid. That way, you'll only see the (listed) ones for A & M, and any new, not yet listed, talkgroups. If possible, record activity for anything that comes up. Then, you can review the recordings (I use this. The download link is in the the post. I got a couple of 'nags' from my anti-virus, but these were false. The file works very well. You can sort the recordings in an Excel-like spreadsheet and see what comes up. ) to see if they are related to A & M, and hopefully they have enough activity to help you identify which specific department, or use, is covered by that TGID.

If you find any "new" (not yet listed) talkgroups, please submit those to the database for future users. Good luck!

I believe this is the system you're talking about: Texas A&M University (College Station)

I'm getting activity this evening on my SDS200 with the DMR option purchased. I've noticed this system has pretty limited range--you need to be pretty close to campus (or have a fairly high antenna) to pick things up.
Yes, I bought the dmr key

DMR is working great on my end. They have added a couple of extra channels that are not listed in the database, but I'm working on trying to ID those. The public safety channels for TAMU are all on TxWarn.
