I need help finding the CC and the VC frequencies for 48250.

Load up the sites closest to you, as we previously determined, Mace Hill 700 and Mace Hill VHF. As those air ambulances fly around, WHEN one affiliates to the Mace Hill site you will be able to hear that talk group. If there isn't a unit affiliated to that site, you won't hear anything.
Likewise, you can't just decide you want to listen to Knoxville FD from Carthage and program in the Knox Simulcast site. Unless you're within receiving distance, it won't work.


TL;DR: load the closest TACN tower site into your scanner and just listen. As you develop an ear, you'll see what talk groups are frequently found on that site.

Does anyone in Western Tennessee have info on TACN sites 4.39 and 4.46? These two sites show up as neighbors on the Arlington site. But, they are not listed in the database. Is it possible that 4.39 is the WTSP - TNDOC(700) site listed as 1.62 in the db? Likewise, could 4.46 be the Henning site listed as 4.40 in the db? Has there been renumbering of sites in this area? Does anyone have insights?

You can always look at the FCC site for the Control Channels and work it out that way.

Sure looks like it from what I can see in FCC records, and from your DSDPlus shows, and based upon the neighboring sites. I think you're on to something. I'm not from TN, nor do I monitor TACN. But if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...

FCC Search for 853.8125 (04-46?) in TN only yielded two hits. One is a new(ish) license to TACN in Macon County. WSHH907 Ward Ln, Westmoreland, TN. I'm not specifically familiar with that area... I'm also not sure if this is something already listed as a '01-##' site.
