im seeing from the Viking Mountain site 48200 and 48207 both encrypted, any ideas
I have been listening to Viking and have seen those two talkgroups pop up a lot. I think 48200 is Greene County Sheriff Dispatch and I think 48207 is possibly Greeneville-Greene County EMS. Either 48207 is EMS or smaller police department in Greene County. 48200 is way more active than 48207. But my guess is Greeneville-Greene County EMS. The radio IDs that pop up for 911 dispatch for Greeneville Police and Greeneville Fire talkgroups are the same ones that pop up on those two talkgroups. 201001, 201002, 201003, and 201004 are the radio IDS that I have for Greene County 911. I have also been trying to locate the animal control talkgroup, they recently joined onto TACN as well. I have not heard them yet.

Did you log any of the ID's on the talkgroup?
yeah a few,
on 48207 I found 201001 which is more than likely the console and a few in the 40676## range
on 48200 201003 appears to be the console, with radio ID's in the 40674## and 40675## range

2010## are more than likely dispatch consoles and could pop up on any talkgroup

was getting new steer tires in Dandridge and only stayed a few hours

Knox County: Rural/Metro FD TGs are starting to be active, testing only at this point. Lots of radio checks between units and dispatch on "800". TG IDs 10650 thru 10656. Mixed FDMA/TDMA traffic so far.

No official word on an implementation plan for switching RMFD from VHF to TACN, yet.

Also, a little traffic on AMR (Knox) TG IDs, 10690-10694. Testing as well, I'm sure.
