The new site at Waucheesi in Monroe County is now live.

RFSS: 02 (2) Site ID: 43 (2B)
769.54375c770.06875a770.54375771.19375771.71875772.06875

Current Neighbors:
22 (16) Centerville23 (17) Madisonville25 (19) Oswald Dome24 (18) Starr Mountain28 (1C) Look Rock

No voice calls so far but I have seen some registrations in the 211XXXX range and some location data requests on TGs in the 95XX range.

Also, this new site has the same RFSS and ID as the Bays Mountain site over in Sullivan County so that info may need to be re-verified.

Talkgroup 9523 sounds like it is Monroe County EMS Dispatch with 4XX series units. The last couple of weeks I have heard some 7XX series on 9504, my guess is that might be Sheriff’s Office Dispatch.
9504 was referred to as “SO PATROL” by a Sheriff Office Unit on 9508. 9508 seems to be the records channel were the units raise the Sheriff’s Office for records check. Have not verified a name for that TGID yet.

Usually that would be called HQ, Info, Data, or Records.... Sometimes even the NCIC ch. Though some agencies just use numbers for ch.

Look at the unication G4/G5. Those pagers, while pricey, may be especially suited to your fire stuff...

MCSD gets TIES warrant checks from dispatch, but paper checks are made in the jail / 700.

Just put over THP District 2 Main Dispatch Channel:

"All units be advised, Motorola is gonna be doing something with the Franklin County Radio Tower. Radios will probably be completely 10-7 up to a minute, this will happen within the next 5 minutes."

If you're talking about listening to the Monroe Co site or most of the other TACN sites, a 996P2 or a 325P2 will work well. Those sites are multicast and non-simulcast. If you're wanting to monitor the sites in Chattanooga, Knoxville, or Nashville Metro then one of the SDS's will be a good choice.
