All of the Valley units were notified that NW Med 42 is now the primary Griffin Med Channel. The change over began at noon today. Say goodbye to patching via NH CMED on Med 1.

I would say this is a good thing but South West and North West C-Med's have turned into versions of NH C-Med already. North West cuts out the beginning of 90% of their key ups and South West is worse than New Haven when it comes to Shelton EMS, They totally ignore the units during the day and have some of the worst dispatchers, Shelton was way better off with New Haven C-Med

Good luck out there!

East of New Haven units appear to be assigned to MED22 via Valley Shore for Yale Guilford, Yale NH and St Ray's..... I think....

Has the Region or OEMS released any official information for these changes? Not that I expect them to actually do it but it would be better than having to read internet forums to figure out emergency medical notification protocols.

As far as I know, no.

Tomorrow is NH's last day on the air, so I have been told.

I've been monitoring the new changes mentioned on here since they were posted. I'm still hearing patches on regular med channels. I will assume that they take effect AFTER the 30th perhaps?

Here is what I have so far:

Valley Units via North West Public Safety-Med 42- 463.0875 PL 192.8
Milford via South West CMED-Med 52-463.1125 PL 123.0
East of New Haven via Valley Shore / Yale Guilford Med 22-463.0375 PL 167.9

That's how I understand it so far unless I'm mistaken.

If that's the case. Can someone record it?
I know there is a feed on Radio Reference that I can get the archive of. SC -Med 10 is one of numerous agencies in the feed and there is a chance that the feed may be busy with another agency at the time of the sign off.
As an approx 7 year user of SC would be nice to hear the sign off.

As dispatchers sign off from the different shifts, I'm sure you'll hear something out of the norm being said!
Regardless of the politics, those are among some of the best dispatchers in their field, hands down. I wish them all the very best of luck on their future endeavors. Whoever hires them, is getting the very best.

C-MED New Haven switched over today at 18:00 hours. My friends and former co-workers Brian and Dave handled it. Unfortunately I could not listen in as I'm at work (live feed was down). Sad day but we'll see what happens now, hopefully there will be some good with all the changes.

One thing for sure, I am glad those who were laid off over the past year and those who served their last shifts the past few days have found employment elsewhere.

With that...........

I just heard someone from AMR thank the dispatcher on behalf of the Charlie (AMR) units...

Update: Still hearing AMR units sign off and thank the dispatchers. Pretty cool to listen to.

I hope this wasn't some official memo.

The above channels were renamed MED-TAC 11,12,13,14 over 2 years ago by DPH

Med 12 would be 463.0125/468.0125
