The gap is nearly identical to my factory knob (within 0.1mm) and the push-to-click works fine--no interference on rotating even with the knob clicked in the "down" position.

Is Jonwienke working for Uniden now? Is he the replacement for Upman? (RIP) Just curious.

Perhaps he can help TampaTracker? Greg

I sent Uniden a resume a few weeks ago, but I'm not a Uniden employee.
I wish you luck. You Know a great deal about scanners and other radios as well, and your work here is well documented. You've got my vote, and if Uniden ever finds that out you will have a job the next day. lol Good luck again. Greg

EDIT: jonathan@unidenscanners.com.

EDIT II: Message count to left. Now I'm playing with the big boys. Will I still get something free?

Lotek posted could someone please post a link to the knob order page. Thx

They are not being given away for free. Read the whole thread, especially post #29 that has a link and instructions where to find them at that link.

Okay, that clears things up and says that nobody is "giving out" or giving knobs away like your post sounded.
The knob that is being talked about is not free!

See post 29 for info about where to purchase.

So unfortunate that support for the awesome SDS series scanners is going down the toilet. Remember, the last time any issues with these were addressed was almost a year ago, and now we still have nothing on the horizon.

Hello Uniden?? Got a guy on here that is obviously qualified!
