Uniden wav files player and organizer

I have a SDS100 scanner and did some searches with the scanner and have noticed that the Uniden scanner is showing site,TGID,UID information but Uniden Wave Player v2.0.9 beta is Not showing this information in the program can someone tell me how to get the program to show this information

The pic you posted in the other post you have shows conventional for type. There wouldn't be any of those fields in a conventional transmission.

The latest version is 2.0.10 as well but not sure it that will fix anything. Release.zip

Yes I was doing a search for new digital systems and when the scanner found them I could see the information in the scanner come up but it was not showing up in the Uniden wave player, I will run my favorite list with digital systems and see if it works

Actually, they are conventional DMR that he showed and the UWP does display the Talkgroup and UID on some of those calls, now I don't know if the SDS scanners puts the information in the wav files (TRX/WS scanners do).

You need to remember, UWP only reads what is written on the recording, all it does is read the info from the recording. That information is not saved in the metatags on the recording. He can't display what isn't available. And, just because your scanner shows it doesn't mean it is being added to the recordings.

You need to remember, UWP only reads what is written on the recording, all it does is read the info from the recording. That information is not saved in the metatags on the recording. I'm running the same and have not had any issues with it freezing up.

I also notice that at times it shows UID and the UID name and at other times it only displays the name and if no name then only the number.
I tried this on my SDS100 & 200 and it was the same with both. I'm not sure if this is the player of it it's a quirk of the radios.

Some times helpful add directory with your wav files to antivirus software exclusions.

It's being doing that since the very first version and haven't increased or decreased in number of freezes during the different versions. It seems to help a bit by stopping the playback before selecting a new file, but it will still freeze.

Because the program was designed to use the files on the computer, not to control the scanner. That would be a lot of added coding for a free program to add a feature you can already do through the scanner.

That is a processing issue between the programming language and windows, it happens in many programs and is not a bug.

Yes, bug with playing audio not new. Now i work on another project and i hope it will be fineshed it soon and fix some issues in this programm.
About deleting files. I think you will filter unwanted files and remove it from your PC. Files with 0 duration, files with noise and etc.

I don't want his program to remove it from the scanner. I would like it to be removed from the program and not from windows.

So you don't want to delete them you want to filter out certain calls. @deim just said he'll look at adding additional filters when he has time.

I throught I was the only one suffering from program freeze ups. Usually happens if I click on a file to play it while it is playing another files. Still a great program.
