You can't just apply for an amateur radio license online.
You have to pass a test that is given by a Volunteer Examiner team.

Ty and another small question I did not see in the forums...lol...Why does the Uniden-BCD436HP? when I hear a transmission there is like a 1 or 2 sec delay....Ty

In response to your two questions, I see where fxdscon and nd5y responded with the American Radio Relay League's (ARRL's) web address for finding a testing session to take your Ham Radio license test and some other information as well. Was that all you need on that question? To get your Technician or General Class ham license, you have to pass a written exam of 35 questions with a passing score of 74 percent or 26 questions answered correctly.

On the second question, I'm not sure what would be causing a one or two second delay based on what I know right now. Are you in a simulcast reception area? Do you have the same delay on all bands and services that you can receive or is it a specific agency/band? What else can you tell me about the agency/band or whatever that you are experiencing the delay with?
