Hello All.

Can anyone please telll me where in Windows 7 Home Premium the USB Port settings are? And I also have a question about my ASUS R500A laptop computer. If I have forgotten my Windows Logpn password, Is it easy to change my password?

just to answer though, START > "RIGHT CLICK" Computer > PROPERTIES > DEVICE MANAGER > Universal Serial Bus Controllers



if you want to change your PW in windows, you have to be IN windows...... unless you made a PW Reset file on a USB Drive or CD.....

now, if your techie enough , grab the program called UBCD 4, create a Ultimate Boot CD 4, and carefully use the "Offline NT Registry and Password Editor"

Boot off the Windows disk and select the “Repair your computer” option from the lower left-hand corner

Follow through until you get to the option to open the Command Prompt, which you’ll want to select.

At the Command Prompt type: net user <username> <new password>

Done this many of times!

Hi.

Is the decimal point on the keypad directly on the left side of the '0' key on the keypad? I pressed it and it does not put the scanner into either Mass Storage nor Serial Mode?

I hope I don't get too much flack for this but when I try to update the firmware for my BCD536HP nothing happens. I have the scanner connected to my 32 bit desktop pc, running Windows 7 Home Premium via the stock USB cable. I personally think that the USB cable is damaged because my wireless keyboard/mouse combo works on the same computer in all of the USB ports. Would anybody who is in the know please offer any suggestions to me?
