V1.30 G2-G5 Firmware Released

I downloaded the firmware so how do I get on the pager.

Make sure you have saved your codeplug before applying the firmware update. Close the pps click on the downloaded firmware exe while your pager is connected to your PC follow the instructions!!

Bottom of the screen after you enable it in the PPS.

thanks i will keep looking for it so far i am not seeing that on my G5 at all being displayed when receiving a transmission on my local Truck system!

D 8 in the PPS. Check the the boxes with the blue header. Talk Group Hold and Remove Setting.

from anther member here, Make sure you go into Pager Configuration Setting and enable TG hold. There is a box to check to enable it.

My airpods work just fine with 1.3... there is a three-beep thing that I'm trying to eliminate at the beginning of some transmissons. I'll check the PPS to see if there's a setting I can change. But set up was a breeze.

The PPS and firmware are separate downloads and you must enable the hold feature in the new PPS tab D8 put a check mark in the hold box and click save.

The issue of the randomly disabled external antenna when pager is inserted in the charger has apparently not been fixed. At least not on mine; inserting the pager causes improved signal for a few seconds, then it goes to "Out of Range" with no reception.

i will recheck everything when i receive a transmission while scanning a trunk system my G5 is showing nothing its blank a the bottom no Hold or block!

I'm not familiar with your issue. Have you tried multiple amp chargers? Have you cleaned the contacts on the bottom of the pager? Eraser works well for cleaning.

Read the profile from the pager in C / C3. Make the changes by opening the profile you just read. Write back (program) the pager.
