Updates were made to the database with a number of VIPER TGs being deprecated, including all the DPRR, VE VC VW Pool and Roam, SWLAW, SWGEN, SWFIRE, and SWEMS talkgroups.
What replaced those TGs?
Used to hear the EMS stations inside ECU’s stadium use DPRR TGs on football game days.

Thanks for all your hard work on the database! The DPR talkgroups were condensed from 90 down to 45 and the state events talkgroups were increased from 32 to 80.
Med Trans owned and operated the service to include the flight crew. They did not have enough flights to be profitable, once their contract expired they elected to leave. Apollo Medflight is the vendor for Airlink, the transport service for what was New Hanover Regional Medical Center. NHRMC is now owned by Novant Health, so Airlink will now have a 4th base in Salisbury. Apollo's ad is for pilots and mechanics only, the medical team will be employees of Novant Health, unlike the previous arrangement.Do you know when (and why) Novant Medflight left Salisbury? EMS still asks for bypasses there.
I'm not sure if it's a patch or not. I was monitoring the Woody Knob tower and heard about 90% of the transmissions on VHF and VIPER. There were some transmissions I heard on VHF but not VIPER. But they could have been out of range of the Woody Knob tower. BRP LE Rangers are the only ones I've heard. Is it just law enforcement or all operations? Also is it permanently patched? I get a blip or two a week from the Sylva site so I haven't been able to get both DSD and my VHF radio running in time
Did you happen to catch the Viper radio IDs?New TG# 60581-Blue Ridge Parkway Law Enforcement
I've been hearing this TG for several months but finally was able to positively identify it. The VHF P25 frequencies are still being used as well, so I guess this is a patch or link to VIPER? Several UIDs were noted, so at least some of the officers are carrying VIPER portables.
2917800 for dispatch, with field units 29178XX.Did you happen to catch the Viper radio IDs?
Thanks!2917800 for dispatch, with field units 29178XX.
Instead of UT which requires you know the tower/system, did you consider close call or spectrum scan, or DSD+ if you have it to look at the spectrum? Doesn't the Parkway use multiple bands, such as the 170 MHz, and NC Viper 700/800 MHz?Ok on my way along the BR Parkway this morning from asheville to mt mitchell about 10 miles from the visitor center the parkway was closed due to an accident. A car had gone over the side and landed 240 down but the young lady driving was very lucky or had a special angel looking over her as she survived that accident with only minor injuries. I thought that would be the perfect place to set up shop and use unitrunker for a couple of hours to see what I could pick up. will try again tomorrow and see what i can find
I brought 2 more dongles besides my airspy as well plus I have 2 harris xg100p and xg100m with a CH100 control head
