They are on Davidson County Events 2.. for now.. I speculate this is temporary until Thomasville PD get their own Talkgroup and following the theme it will probably be Encrypted. How can we listen to the Thomasville police radio? Or we can’t at all
As of today, they are still dispatching on their original talk groups.I see that some new Davidson County TGs were just added to the database, including a new Davidson County Fire Dispatch TG and EMS Dispatch TG. I was curious as to how these new TGs differ from the existing fire and EMS dispatch TGs.
The 2 talkgroups repeat dispatch from time to time randomly it seemsAs of today, they are still dispatching on their original talk groups.
During the storms the other day, I heard Griffith Fire on the WS/FC P25 system talking about needing to monitor "Davidson 35 TAC." They also mentioned that 35 TAC was the "old TAC 1" (presumably TG 15016, although I did not check) and is their storm protocol channel. They said it is used by Midway, Gumtree, and Griffith. Seems like Davidson might be reworking their talkgroups.I'm hoping someone in the know can update the Davidson County Fire/EMS TGs. It sounds like since moving over to VIPER, maybe TG 15041 is Thomasville Fire Dispatch? Or at least TGs 15001, 15002, 15041, 15042 are patched together frequently in the past few days.
Also, Badin Lake FD had a hazmat call yesterday and was talking with Montgomery EM on TG 31518. I'm not sure if this is a TAC channel for Badin Lake or Mongomery EM, but most of the operation was on what was still called Davidson TAC 1 (TG 15016) with Healing Springs (Davidson County Station 48).
I thought I heard something along those lines as well. My guess is not everyone has their radios reprogrammed yet, so that might be why TAC 1 was assigned to Badin Lake and Healing Springs.During the storms the other day, I heard Griffith Fire on the WS/FC P25 system talking about needing to monitor "Davidson 35 TAC." Update it seems as of Monday when a Davidson County, NC Viper Volunteer Dept gets toned out, they get assigned A number tac that corresponds with their station. Example Station 91/92 Silver Valley uses Tac 91.During the storms the other day, I heard Griffith Fire on the WS/FC P25 system talking about needing to monitor "Davidson 35 TAC." Has anyone in Brusnwick or NHC picked up any TDMA traffic yet?
I am still hearing most traffic on FDMA, and not getting anything on TDMA. I am listening to Brunswick Co but on the tower out of NHC. I am using SDRTrunk and I just want to determine if this is a configuration issue on my end, or if the area is still only using FDMA.
Thanks! My TDMA channels are wierd in SDRTrunk so I am not sure if they are working. I will just assume that most of the traffic here isn't cut over yet.80-90 percent of traffic I'm seeing is still FDMA, it is a slow change over with equipment and programming.
Some info about the Watauga County project in this article.

I see the same thing. In Elizabeth City everything is FDMA. Camden County SO is the TDMA. The HP is running mixed.80-90 percent of traffic I'm seeing is still FDMA, it is a slow change over with equipment and programming.
