Oops sorry I didn't see your reply! I don't know what the 107.2 or BCSO means. I will listen more to see if it becomes clearer to me who it is thats transmitting., Tom

A PL would help in Identification of who/what you are hearing.

Out in the Western Mass this is most likely the
BCSO = Berkshire County Sheriff (Who handles a regional Dispatch center)
107.2 = most likely the PL you are hearing

I hear traffic on this freq. and it sounds like AMR ambulance or a fire dept. ambulance somewhere. Its def not a police freq.

You're hearing Tolland County's fire's repeater from Vernon CT (460.3875 PL 118.8).

This puts a really strong signal into the Springfield area.

Yes, I do see now that it IS a Springfield Police Channel-it's quiet most of the time and when I hear the PD on it, it is very weak. The fire talk is very strong and clear.

It's channel 4 for SPD. A car to car simplex channel.

This is a Springfield police channel. they use this frequency for Car-to-Car Communications.
