So after almost 2 months they have one scanner and one fire product for sale🥲
I wouldn't expect miracles from scanner companies. After all, the almighty Unident took five years to cobble together a new radio that doesn't trunk after their (apparently) only dev kicked off.

This is an update to my post #277 in this thread.

I was just browsing around the Whistler Group website and noticed that they just raised the price of their in-stock WS1010 handheld analog scanner from the previous price of $99.99 to $114.99. That's a 15% price increase since they launched their "new" website. I wonder if this 15% price increase will also be applied to the pricing on their other scanner models when those other models actually become available for sale on their website???
With the tariffs, they probably will all cost more.

It’s the only one available now. As I have stated, basically they have no products after announcing they were back a few months ago. Do not hold your breath.

I downloaded the Whistler EZ Scan updater and it keeps telling me that my 1080 scanner, which hasn't been updated in at least two years is up to date. ow is that possible?

My guess would be the latest server file is the same one you have in your scanner. Since Whistler was out of business there was no one around to create updates and the new owners may not have employees on the payroll yet to create updates. Again, my guess is that if they hire folks to create updates it will be for the most recent radios as there is no profit motive to improve older models. Keep in mind the new owners made a significant investment to purchase Whistler and would assume they want to see some return on that investment some day.
