I'm using DSDPlus Fastlane and i'm scanning frequencies in my scanlist and i notice with the digital frequencies like DMR or P25 or NXDN when it stops on a channel i'll see it in the event log window in green text and what the talkgroup is and it will also record the digital frequencies and place them in the records folder but with the analog conventional frequencies it doesn't record them the same way and it doesn't show them in the event log window like it does with the digital frequencies. So i'm just wondering is there a way to see what analog conventional frequencies it has stopped on? i'm just wondering because i have a bunch of frequencies in my scanlist to scan that are analog and i'd like to see which ones i'm picking up and which ones i'm not, If it would record them like the digital ones that would really help so i can go back and look at everything. Thanks

Afaik the only way to see an analog frequency that dsd has stopped on is to physically look at the top of the FMP24 spectrum graph as the conversation is going on. I don't believe DSD+ can record individual analog calls and I don't believe there's a way to see a list of frequencies that the program stopped on either, but I'd like to be proven wrong.

Honestly, the analog scanning feels pretty lacking. It's probably best to buy a used scanner for $30 or so on FB Marketplace and use that to scan analog instead. With everyone going to P25 or using DMR, basic conventional scanners can be acquired for practically nothing.

Imagine. That first D in DSDPlus stands for digital. If you can do analog with it, consider yourself lucky. It's intent is to sleuth and trunk digital signals and systems.
