"I think it is important to stress our commitment and goal of ensuring emergency situations have effective and seamless communications and an interoperable system, while not flawless, certainly assists first responders and emergency officials statewide and across state borders with the ability to communicate in crises situations," said Thornton. "Communications is critical to the success of any and all operations and we certainly have no desire to implement a system that puts anybody’s life in danger. Continued dialogue among all parties remains necessary as we move forward with the state’s interoperable efforts."
Dontcha just gotta love the particularity of the talking head's official position...:
5.63 letters per word, with close to half being 6 or more letters. Wow.
Not sure who's using it but I think they have it labeled as "R2TAC4". The RIDs are the same series as all other Jefferson Co. radios.
That is also consistent with my notes on the regional TG series. 019nn would make it a Region 2 ("R2") TG, and I show:
0r915 = Region (r+1) Tac-1
0r917 = Region (r+1) Tac-2
0r919 = Region (r+1) Tac-3
0r921 = Region (r+1) Tac-4
Ergo, 01921 would be "Region-2 Tac-4" (R2TAC4).
...R
Well here is the latest screen grab of uni talkgroups that have been seen on the Logan site.....quite a lil list and slowly growing.

Mike, thanks for the information. I had tg 1507 plugged in and heard the testing, but did not have the other tgs in my receiver. Needless to say they are in now. On 1507 sometimes it would sound muddled and other times it came in loud and clear. It sounded much better today on the Jefferson site. I hope that is the way all of them wind up when they are finished. FWIW some of the tgs on the Berkely site have been almost unreadable, but today they seem mostly clear. (for now)
It's kinda late, however will do a further check "later today". Will post what I find. I do have the Jefferson site in the same bank with the Berkely site separated by a dummy freq as well as in it's own separate bank. Food for further, closer investigation. Am using a Pro-96. I tried attenuation and different antennae. The Berkely site almost comes in with no antenna. I also experiemented with an external speaker just in case the stock speaker couldn't hack the audio. The voice comes in kind of mushy and squeally, as best as can be described. Haven't heard any unit advise that another unit was "going digital" lately. Maybe they are used to it by now. Also, the WVSP came in perfectly clear on the Jefferson Site yesterday when they were testing.
While listening to the Jefferson site with the Pro-96 just now heard TG 1501 on JC System and it was Jefferson County Fire as evidenced by the co-reception on the Pro-97 on that channel. I hope it stays that way. In reference to my previous post on on "noise", I programmed EVERY frequency listed in the DB for the Berkeley County system and the noise has all but disappeared, at least for now. The scanner stops on various freqs not listed as control and alternate. So far so good anyway.
