Thank you to all of you who have figured this out

Thanks to everyone in this thread who has made the database what it is. I just moved here and programmed my old Uniden BCD396T and all is working.

I was surprised to get good signal strength as I am in Lagrange in Goshen County and Lagrange is in a bit of an RF hole as it's in a low spot geographically.

That area seems to have pretty good coverage. Between the 77 Hill, Torrington, and Whitcomb sites, you should have a good time listening around there.

Glad it is working out!!

Can anyone tell me the band plan for wyolink using a Uniden scanner, it requires trunking table.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

For thosewho do not know, the channel for Mountain View Hospital ER is no good. The hospital was bought and the ER was closed.

What county is it listed under, and no traffic of any kind is on that talkgroups, correct?

Mountain View Hospital was assimilated into the Wyoming Medical Center (WMC) . WMC is a trauma center and the biggest in central Wyoming. I think the county or WMC will repurpose the talkgroup.

All over the map.
Can anyone advise an out of stater which of the sites in Cheyenne is/are used by Wyoming Highway Patrol for patrolling Interstate 80?

In other words does Wyoming Highway Patrol only use the 85 South and Water Tank sites in Cheyenne? Or are they also using the Burns, Antelope, Archer, and Fox Farm sites that the FCC has as being licensed to the county's unified communications?

Thanks!

Few days later here, but I'll answer up anyway. All of the listed sites are on the WyoLink system (as are the Cheyenne 800 sites), and as such are used by any units that might be in the area. You will find WHP traffic on all of the VHF sites usually.

New (?) WyoLink sites.
Are these on the air? It doesn't look like any are in the database.

Well I searched all the FCC data for current State of Wyoming trunked public safety licenses and found that there appears to be up to 39 WyoLink sites that are not shown in the database. Somebody has some investigating to do.

Hi it looks like most of these are inputs or extra frequencies for low level sites, may be also future ones??
Will put them in and see what happens, thanks for doing the leg work.

None of those are inputs. They are all FB2 or FB8.
Some did have LL or Low Level in the site description.
Ok thanks, there were rumours that they gobbled as many vhf frequencies as the fcc would give them,
as to have enough for most of the sites high priority and reuse them if needed as fill ins and add to high traffic ones,
800 mhz licenses soon followed.

Hello,

ND5Y, I can confirm that the Buffalo site is online and functioning properly. It is a local portable/handheld coverage site (PCS). I'm surprised by a site going up at meadow lark lake. Will definitely have to program those Freq.

LOL, they can be a battle if you aren't used to them.

I don't know of anybody who could help you down there. I am in Casper, but would be happy to help if you were ever up here.

What problems are you having? We may be able to help from afar.

WM
I need help finding help on the Laramie County Highway Patrol & Cheyenne PD & FD. Can you help me to find them?
