Saturday I took a trip down to Murray and listened to some keyups on the 139.15 repeater. It is distinctive as it has a "reset beep."
There were some comms for an exercise on 141.125 that WERE Williams.
But the odd thing is in Murray - South county and close to Camp Williams the signal was noisy. Later while driving North and as I passed Hill AFB the signal was full quieting. OK it could be an anomaly, but I wonder if a freq swap may have happened.
Could some Wasatch Front North and also South folk monitor and listen for the distinctive reset beep and see how the sig strength is?
