Does anyone know what the active control channel is for Taney and Stone counties on the P25 moswin system is? I have a Bluetail technologies micro P25RX, and it would help me from entering each control freq to find out which is the active one……

All the MOSWIN info is in the database: Missouri Statewide Wireless Interoperable Network (MOSWIN) Trunking System, Statewide, Multi-State The control channels are in red, and can change among them, so all need to be programmed.
Yes I know, but I was wanting the current control channel so I don't need to put in all of them in order to find out which is the active one.....Thanks
But as @wbloss said, they are subject to change at any time, and when they do you will stop hearing traffic and not even realize it, and then need to go through this process all over again. That is why it is important to have all the CCs entered.
Does not the MicroP25RX have a method to identify the control channels that actually carry control channel data?
I know the original P25RX did. It was no big deal to add the few freqs listed a controls or alternates and then run the feature that scanned the freqs you entered and it would show you which ones carried control channel data from all the freqs you have entered.
Entering the freqs for Taney and Stone counties should not take more than a minute or two so you can identify which are active.
But... as was already said in this thread, if you don't have them all added and the current control channel changes for several possible reasons, you would then hear nothing. It's not that hard or time consuming to enter all the freqs for a given Moswin site as almost all are only 5 or 6 frequencies with the exceptions for the large 800 sites in St Louis and the new Zone 4 site in Springfield and I assume a few others.
Most of the 700 MHz sites that list more than six frequencies are probably listed in error and contain at least one or more freqs that the site does not use.
If the Micro P25RX has the control channel data output feature like the original P25RX had which allowed you to pipe the data into Pro96com, it was easy to use that data as Pro96com would show the frequencies that are assigned as the control as well as the alternate(s). It would also list the ID channel freq. All channels, including the active control channel, can become a voice channel if the site becomes fully loaded. I've seen this happen on the VHF sites near me. Pro96com will also list the sites bandplan info which can be helpful for the VHF sites on older scanner models.
Now entering all the known talkgroups and their names would be a task in itself if doing it manually. It's still not that bad for Moswin though as each site is only allowed to carry mostly local talkgroups and then some statewide IO and All type talkgroups from the entire state.
Does the Micro P25RX still have an Import feature that will bring in the info from a database its interface program uses? That should make things easier for you to get them all into your Micro.
I don't use my original P25RX for anything new so I don't know what the Micro may offer over the original model I have. Mine is setup and has worked just fine since Todd started working on the newer models such as the Micro.

I recently worked with a member whose scanners all stopped working. The system switched to an alternate control channel frequency. The member had only one control channel frequency programmed into the site. It is best to enter all of the control channel capable frequencies. On a Harris system, any frequency can be used as the control channel and it often rotates. In that case, all frequencies in the site must be programmed.
