I just sent a report to the makers of parallels with a complete report of my system logs showing all errors. i asked them if any of these problems can be the fault of the VM or the way the VM talks via the USB ports. I also gave them the model numbers of the 2 radios.

Lets see what if anything comes of this.

That works. I find it strange that it works on the Toshiba but not Parallels. My Moto software works flawlessly, and we all know how finicky Mother Motorola radios are. Same with RTSystems software for my amateur equipment. WIN500 and WIN96 are also fine on the VM. I also rescued all the original cards on the Toshiba, so now I have backups.
Let me know what they say.
